Cookie Dough
This is a fun recipe that is a quick snack fix for hungry munchkins after a hard day of play, or for adults looking for a healthy way to satisfy a sweet tooth. There are many variations you can use with this recipe, such as mixing in nuts, fruits, or even cocoa. Here is the basic recipe:
3/4 cup nut butter of choice
1/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup date syrup
1/3 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup almond flour
pinch of sea salt
Mix flours and salt together. Add nut butter and date syrup to mixture and stir until nice and smooth. Add chocolate chips and roll into balls! Stick balls in freezer for 30 minutes to set. Refrigerated balls will stay fresh for up to a week.
